Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and sabotage a competitor

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
