History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ernest fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barkeep for the past few years.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
