History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the west to a Knight, Theodoric learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Gardener. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently the stress of being a Marshal has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult
