History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Revenge.

History: The child of a Laborer, who enjoyed hunting, Jocelyn was taken on many hunting expeditions. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
