History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
