Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: An older man who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, he is not a threatening figure. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Heward is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Manfred was born with his father's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has worked as a Farmer like his father before him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his father's many stories. He worked as a nervous Barber and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barber.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is greedy
