History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a Spy soon after.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
