He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Roland was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Apothecary. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He has worked as a Healer like his father before him.
