History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born into a rich family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Carter like his mother before him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
