History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Architect, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. After coming to the age of reason, William took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. Roger is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has achieved small success as a Bather.
