Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lance embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
