He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Hubert took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the east
