History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is greedy

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Roland was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gunter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
