History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Roofer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Alex was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Engraver. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
