History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
