History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull yellow iron scale mail. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Charles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
