History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Norman was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Courier and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: The child of a Masseuse, who enjoyed hunting, Anthony was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
