History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the north to a Healer, Don learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
