History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Adelard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He became a Sage soon after.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
