History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull blue iron scale mail. His head has been shaved. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is greedy

Description: He stands about 5'6" and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
