His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
