Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
