He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: A middle-aged man, he usually wears his tan robe and has his whip always slung over his shoulder, and is pretty ugly. His hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the west. Conrad was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stylist. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the right. He has green eyes and a black hat with a green feather.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Banker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
