History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Gerald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture
