He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Bernard has worked very hard to control his curse. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'0". He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Miner again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
