History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this western man wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time. His hair is golden and curly. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Motivation: To be a Miller again; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult
