Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Manfred is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Shane enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
