Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To protect his home; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
