He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Bellfounder, but he was a colossal failure. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heward is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
