Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Roland hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter
