History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His childhood dream was to be a Barber, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
