Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roger embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His silver hair is cut short. His ears are large.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Stableman, but he got bored and became a Servant. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He became a Shoemaker soon after.
