Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: 5'7" and muscular, this northern man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has no hair. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Charles speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a yellow deerstalker hat and yellow clothes. His hair is short and silver. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Cook.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cook and was forced into it by his family; and to be a sage again

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a green vest and prefers black and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break
