He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

History: Lance was born with his father's beautiful face. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and wants his loneliness to end
