History: Roland was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with his Sellsword mother left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and expand his business

His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Gunter enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Body Guard. He has worked as a Body Guard like his mother before him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Adam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
