History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a great chef.

History: Jocelyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Balimaar was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barkeep. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
