Description: This northern man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His clothes are grease stained in places. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lance does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Cook, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now mingles about in high society.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Weaver. He has worked as a Weaver like his mother before him.
