History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
