Gerald Preston, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear flannel. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Junk Dealer profession.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
Motivation: To be a Junk Dealer again; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
Flaws: Insomniac. Bonds: Adventurer, Job, Religious, Enemies. Occupation: Roofer
Voice: Mumbles to self between sentences

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balimaar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balimaar. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a brown collared shirt and black pants. He accessorizes with a brown scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His eyes are violet.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
Flaws: Cynical, Impulsive, Racist. Bonds: Immigrant, Job. Occupation: Spy

Personal [hide]
Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
