Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
