Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: Hugh was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses like a well dressed Dyer does. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Conrad isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This dark-skinned male dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, tan shirt, and white tie. He has shaved his head bald. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
