History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Arnold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.
