History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and wants to work out more often

History: He comes from a rich southern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Thomas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
