History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Solomon grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends
