His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Description: An older man who wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and black with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Crown-heir born in the past three hundred years. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Percival grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Percival. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is fixated on the number 74. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
