Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears bulky green painted plate armor. He has moderate length silver hair. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
