History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: 5'11" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His golden hair is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: He wears long strands of sapphire and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and carries whips. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is a Hag in disguise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy
