History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by drow. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against drow

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He tends to his Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Odo grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
