History: He was born in a small island village. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
