History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born in the west to a Stableman, Alex learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
